Car Air Purifier & Ionizer – Are you serious?

Are you serious?

Who really needs a "Car Air Purifier & Ionizer". I understand that there is allot of airborne fumes inside of your vehicle and bacteria, but reality stands. Do you really think this small item can purify the air in your vehicle.

It seems like this thing is being made from one specific source somewhere in China in a sweatshop. This thing claims it will leave your vehicle smelling fresh and clean, just plug it in your car lighter and breath fresh air!

They are selling it for 24.95 at toolsforwellness.com. But if you jump on ebay you can find it as low as a penny + $6.99 shipping from Hong Kong. I am sorry if you own one of these and you think it really helps you to remove bacteria and purify the area in your car.

If you really want to defend this useless item, give me concrete evidence because I don't see this item as something anyone should own. There is also some dashboard units that claim to do the job. (found here)

The dashboard units found above seem more solid, and seem like they might actually have the technology to purify the air inside of your car. But the cheap "made in china", cigarette lighter ones are hard to trust as an actual unit that will purify the air.

If i am wrong, prove me wrong. Maybe I am jumping into conclusion too fast maybe these things really do work. But for now I am keeping it at "Are you serious?".

I don't mean to be a hater on this item, but if you can change my mind please feel free to attempt this , or should i really go out spend the $6.99 and buy one of these.
