This is a very cool program i found for remote desktop assistance. The program called is Crossloop and can be found at here.
There is a free and paid version, but pretty much with a free version allot can be done.
Some options the free version lacks are:
- Ability to remote reboot and reconnect
- Create and place custom footer/header on client
- Connect to Unlimited number of remote computers with permission
Go to the crossloop website and click on, Get Free
After clicking Get Free you will see a screen with a comparison chart of the free and paid version. If you want to buy the paid version go ahead you can do that from there. If you are on limited funds like me! (Whooooo!) click on a link that looks like this:
Click, on a link on the page. Get Crossloop and install it!. After you run Crossloop you should get a screen like this:
If you are a person that loves filling out forms, go ahead create and account and register if you are lazy just click skip and you should see the following screen
You have two tabs the, Access and Share tab. If you click on "Share" tab you will see this:
Now you see an access code, you can provide this access code to anyone that is also running cross loop they will input the number under the "Access" tab and hit connect which would allow them to control your PC.
Trust me this is the easiest remote assistance, I was able to help my mom with it and all the other ones she was having issues with. This is very quick and easy and the basic functionality is there.
So basically my review of Crossloop gets a 8/10!. You might think why is this guy telling me about this program there is so many of them out there but there is a reason why this program has connected over 8million people.
