Here is a very short and sweet article. I am going to name the top 10 Apps you should have on your smartphone.

So here is my quick and dirty short top 10 android apps you must have for your Android device.

1. Nettalk - Free long distance calls in USA and Canada over 3G or Wi-Fi , basically uses up your data call as much as you want. The voice quality is not the greatest but who is going to complain about free.

2. Waze - Social GPS, report police, report accident know about accidents. This is a live GPS that always gets updated from other drivers and shows you where police traps are, very good GPS probably one of the best GPS apps I have seen.

3. VLC Media Player Pro - play movies on your tablet, but also use it as a LAN streaming server, and what I mean by that is that you are able to access your computer with your tablet and play movies right on your tablet by streaming, no more annoying transfers of movie files onto your tablet.

4. TouchPad - a neet keyboard for android with various language packs, you can have a language packs from various countries the neet thing here is when you use SPEECH-to-TEXT it recognizes the accent of your selected country.

5. Talkatone - another app that allows free calls over Wi-Fi or 3G same as nettalk not sure about voice quality I have not tried calling anyone yet.

6. Skype - make video calls and voice calls, pretty much everyone knows Skype

7. Viber - free international calls but only Viber to Viber users, not a biggie here for the simple fact that the other party must have viber also installed on their phone.

8. eBuddy - combine all your messenger into one Yahoo messenger, MSN, Facebook Chat etc. No more running 5 different communicators to drain your phone battery and resources just run one makes sense.

9. A general flash light get this, any flash light will do why? - because many times you will need light, drains battery but hey if you need it you need it.

10. Ubersocial - Twitter to the next level if you tweet you must have ubersocial makes tweeting as 123.

Google is now entering the online payment world, and is trying to be one of the first ones to offer online payment with your phone.

There is not much news about it at this time, but some big merchants are jumping onto the boat like:

CSV Pharmacy

Guess

RadioShack

Subway

It all comes down to simplicity the way it will work you tap your Google Wallet and your purchase gets approved on the spot, some big players partnering with Google are like CITI Bank.

If you ever used your Paypass at a store it would be the same concept. What google is basically trying to do is turn your phone into a Paypass card on the go.

I am not really sure if this will work with Android phones only, or which specific phones this will work on.

Combing through their Google Wallet website at,

http://www.google.com/wallet/how-it-works-security.html

It seems like Google wallet will require a PIN, I know the way Paypass works now no pin is required but these are usually smaller purchases. I never purchased anything large with Paypass.

Google states it is a seperate chip called Secure Element that protects you from authorized use of the system.

But from what I can see Google Wallet works basically in the same way as a Paypass Mastercard.

Here is the catch as always, will this ever reach Canada. Goods news is that it will work in Canada!

Their website is integrated with Google Maps and it shows you where Google Wallet works!

Check it out at:

http://www.google.com/wallet/where-it-works.html

I am excited with Google Wallet and I wonder when it will reach Android phones, as I am ready to make a switch from the Blackberry phone to an Android phone. I signed up when this is coming to my area here in Toronto and Google asked me to questions.

1. Do you have a 4G phone from sprint
2. Do you have a CITI mastercard

I am assuming they are in a partnership with CITI and Sprint at this time, how will this Google Wallet fly?

I am not really sure let's wait and see, we all know that I love Google, I hope this nifty idea flies.

Zagg sorry to break the news to you:

http://www.zagg.com/accessories/zaggsparq.php

But first of all you are overpriced. Oh wait for those wondering what Zagg is take a deep look with your shiny eyes.

Zagg basically is a device that plugs into an outlet has two USB outputs and you can charge your USB devices and Zagg works like a battery (stores power if you want to charge with it unplugged) and it's a little square same size like a regular Blackberry.

Zagg is just overpriced at $99 dollars, and who would like to carry a battery pack around them do we really want an extra Blackberry in our pocket? (I'd rather just carry a fully charged battery in my wallet) but of course Zagg wants you to buy it.

I bet the device was made in China and cost of production was probably a dollar, that would equal a profit margin of 9900 percent for Zagg.

I mean I don't want to hate on Zagg.com they got some cool gadgets, but hey easy with the price guys!

Just my two cents on it, I hope I didn't rub Zagg the wrong way.

Zagg please don't kill me

Google is releasing it's Chromebook and it's coming to you soon. Google states the Chromebook can be ordered starting June 15th, 2011

Google claims this machine is optimized for the web and can boot up in 8 whooping seconds! now that is spaghetti if you ask me.

You wonder how does this Chromebook look like, well so far they are releasing these two Chrome Books with:

Samsung
Acer

And they look like this:

These puppies support flash as well so it's not your typical ipad 2

There is also a 3G Chromebook, so you can work from your wireless provider so far it's only on Verizon and it gives you a whooping 100MB of data. (wow 100MB not too much Mr Verizon!)

This is how the prices look like with Verizon:

100MB of data per month 1

Free

Limitless day pass 2

$9.99 per day

Additional 1 GB of data 3

$20 per month

Additional 3 GB of data 3

$35 per month

Additional 5 GB of data 3

$50 per month

And go figures the Chromebook is a cloud device meaning that you will never loose your favorites as well anything that you had on there which is super-cool!

Personal data is always secured in the Chromebook which means anyone can log in and have their own cloud environment, nothing is shared (I love cloud!)

When a new version comes out and you upgrade your Chromebook all the apps transfer over, and you are back online within seconds!

And Google claims the Chromebook is virus Free well for now I guess. The catch is it will cost you $28 dollars per month to use the Chromebook, that is about $336 dollars per year, and that's per user account.

Also another downside to this is that, will devices be compatible with this thing?

Who knows? If I can't hook up my cool gadgets to it what would be the point of owning it.

In the next few months will see how the Chromebook will do.

Conclusion: Google Chromebook is cool

Check out more at:

http://www.google.com/chromebook/#

Hey Folks,

So Google TV will now be on Android 3.1 (a.k.a. Honeycomb).

There is possibility, that you may be able to watch videos on your Android devices and when you get home continue watching it on your Google TV where you left off. (I think that be pretty cool)

Major Google TV suppliers will be:

Logitech

Samsung

Sony

Vizio

I am not really sure if Vizio is up to the standards yet, I wouldn't really trust a Vizio Google TV (but that being said it's just my opinion again)

There is some buzz around Youtube movie rentals, which is a cool concept with the Android and Google TV being able to rent movies directly from Youtube (is this a shot at netflix, except using the powerful channel of youtube already?)

Anyways I am interested to see where this unfolds!

You may be in the same situation that I am in, you may have a blog and have Google Adsense on your blog, and you may make a whooping $3 dollars a day which is barley enough to pay for hosting and your time.

This is how much I make right now, but it doesn't bother me at all because I love writing articles for you guys to read. Now I want to share a unquie revenue program with everyone this program is called Infolinks.

What Infolinks does it adds links into content that you write. Everytime someone mouses over the link they get a relevant add based on the word of the link, it is pretty cool and I have this implemented on my blog.

So basically this will bring extra revenue for your blog. Check out http://www.infolinks.com

Below I will show a quick screenshot of how it works for the visual people out there.

Also below I want to show you a quick snapshot how much money I make with them, it is not alot but it's pretty much free revenue. If anyone know any extra revenue channels for your blog leave a comment and let me know.

As you can see it's not much Cash about $29 dollars since the blog started it's pocket change, but if your blog is a very popular blog this can turn into a good revenue stream

So you are in a situation where your older laptop does not have a HDMI port on it. No problem as long as it has a VGA port you can convert a VGA signal to HDMI.

You will need the following items:

1. VGA to HDMI converter box. (Check on Ebay the cheapest place to find them I paid $28.00 for mine with a BuyIT now option)

2. VGA (male to male) cable

3. 3.5mm cable on both ends. (which will connect from laptop to converter box)

4. A TV with a HDMI port

5. Movies and Popcorn!

I have decided it might be a better idea to watch the whole process and how it works instead of writing about it.

Check out the video, and enjoy! This is the best alternative I have found to achieve this.

So we have the Philips 40" inch 40PFL3705D HDTV LCD TV today to look at. This LCD TV is only one of the few here carried at Wal-Mart that is a 120HZ (1080P).

I am talking about specifically the TV's that Wal-Mart carries here in Canada. This TV goes for $598 here in Canada.

The TV is a 1080P and the look in the front is very comparable with some of the Samsungs sets. This is also a Green-TV which has a energy saving function build into the software which dims the LCD and avoids the TV from heating up.

When in Green mode the TV barley heats up I had it running for hours, when turning the Green mode off the TV will generally get pretty hot.

Some of the technicals aspects of this TV:

16:9 Native aspect ratio

2500:1 Contrast Ratio

Supported formats: 480i, 480p, 720p, 1080i, 1080p

Response Time: 2ms

Ports:

3 x HDMI Interface

Composite Video	1 x Composite Video

Composite Audio	1 x Composite Audio

S-Video	1 x S-Video

USB	1 x USB

Output	Digital Audio (Coaxial)	1 x Digital Audio (Coaxial)

I would say the speakers are not so amazing on this TV, only 20watts. But overall value for the price of the TV is good this set is very clear, does not heat up and packs a good trusted brand name behind it for a good price.

Check out my video for a quick nice review to see it in action:
