This is pretty exciting. Infolinks has launched an in-text advertising. What in-text advertising means you can create your own unique add, with a relevant title, description and url and drill down and define specific keywords.

You can sign up here for the program:

https://advertisers.infolinks.com/sign_up/register

This new program seem to be very user friendly, and as easy to setup as Google Adwords. You can segment your market geographically as well.

You get real-time reporting to see exactly how your money is being spend, this is good news for advertisers and publisher it will help both parties.

I been using infolinks for a while, and I beleive it's a great way to generate extra revenue or promote your business. It is very exciting to see and know that right now we have a Google Ads alternative.

Infolinks In-Text advertising will deliver campaigns across 250 billion pages of content and have the ability to reach over 350 million unique visitors, therefore we are not talking about a small network of advertisers.

I think this is pretty big exciting news.

And for bloggers like me don't forget that infolinks is fully compatible with allot of blog platforms like:

Joomla, Drupal, WordPress, Blogger.

If you want more information on this great service check out:

Zagg sorry to break the news to you:

http://www.zagg.com/accessories/zaggsparq.php

But first of all you are overpriced. Oh wait for those wondering what Zagg is take a deep look with your shiny eyes.

Zagg basically is a device that plugs into an outlet has two USB outputs and you can charge your USB devices and Zagg works like a battery (stores power if you want to charge with it unplugged) and it's a little square same size like a regular Blackberry.

Zagg is just overpriced at $99 dollars, and who would like to carry a battery pack around them do we really want an extra Blackberry in our pocket? (I'd rather just carry a fully charged battery in my wallet) but of course Zagg wants you to buy it.

I bet the device was made in China and cost of production was probably a dollar, that would equal a profit margin of 9900 percent for Zagg.

I mean I don't want to hate on Zagg.com they got some cool gadgets, but hey easy with the price guys!

Just my two cents on it, I hope I didn't rub Zagg the wrong way.

Zagg please don't kill me

I am going to review a few sites and the best sites to shop for electronics. There is many new sites popping up, but the best ones are definitely here to stay. I am going to categorize which sites are good for Canadian shoppers and which ones are good for US shoppers!

Canada Eh?

http://www.tigerdirect.ca - items are shipped out from the US. Tigerdirect has a customs broker at the border you will never pay customs on items that you purchase from tigerdirect.ca. (Please note: If you purchase from tigerdirect.com, you might have to pay custom fee's)

You may also purchase from one of their locations located around the greater Toronto area. (click here). Sometimes you are able to get free shipping if your order is $100+ (make sure you ask about this)

http://www.canadacomputers.com/ - relativley cheap and competative prices, the thing i like about this place they have a flat shipping rate of $6.99! in Canada no matter what you buy from them. I bought a DSL modem from them great price, fast shipping.

They also have a few locations within the greater Toronto area (click here) , and many more locations.

http://www.newegg.ca - also relatively cheap, head-to-head with tigerdirect.ca. Same kind of deal you will not be drilled with customs when you order from newegg.ca

Unfortunately they have no store locations, so you will always have to pay shipping. Some items or their site will come with free shipping. We shouldn't forget newegg.ca offers Home & Garden section now, so they are branching off from just electronics!

http://www.anitec.ca/ - then there is anitec, which has a physical location in Vancouver. Their prices are pretty competative also, but their shipping is abit high.

There is a few more, but so far these are the top ones in Canada, where i buy from if you have any suggestions or anything to add to the list let me know. I am always looking to save a few $!

U.S.A!

http://www.tigerdirect.com - same kind of deal, as tigerdirect.ca except some items will be cheaper on tigerdirect.com and in US dollars, they will ship to Canada also from tigerdirect.com but the trick is you can't place the order online you have to "call the order in" by phone. But if you ship to Canada like this you "might" be nailed with custom fee. (you simply take the risk here).

Tigerdirect stores are CompUSA stores. There is many locations at the CompUSA website. (click here)

http://www.newegg.com - probably the most popular site for Electronics in the US. Same kind of deal as tigerdirect.com they are competing head-to-head. They have no physical locations this is how they can keep their costs so low!

http://microcenter.com/ - relativley cheap and can competative with pricing compared to (newegg.com and tigerdirect.com). Many store locations in USA (click here).

Conclusion

I am sure there is probably more, smaller and bigger players. I did not mention the obvious ones like BestBuy, Source, Future Shop, etc. If you have anything more to add to the list feel free to mention it!.

As I said i am always looking to save!. But so far these places have been able to offer me the best price speaking from a Canadian point of view.

Lightinthebox.com, what is that you say? That’s what I asked myself when I stumbled upon this website. This is a website compiling of merchandise, such as tattoo kits and iPhone clones from China. What? Tattoo Kits?

So now they sell tattoo kits? That’s pretty funny considering that tattoos are permanent art, not just some fancy ink you can easily remove. Plus, shouldn’t that be done by someone professional? I don’t know but I wouldn’t trust my friends to put a tattoo on me! But they did a great thing to help sell the product. Using a picture of a semi-nude girl to show off an “example” of work the so-called tattoo kit can do, it definitely gets consumers attention. Hey, it got my attention. So this item cost $ 140.99 – well, it is a lot cheaper than going to a tattoo parlor and hey shipping and handling is free! So why not right!?...This product probably cost them $ 5 to manufacture, like most of the product they are selling on this website.

Check out the lightinthebox tattoo kit at http://www.lightinthebox.com/Tattoo-Kit-2-Machines---Guns-Power--Tube--Needle_p33995.html

I am not sure if I would buy anything from there, considering for a big retailers like this to use semi-nude pictures, I guess this retailer doesn't really care about the display of pictures on his site.

You can also buy weird products there like a clone iphone or cloned HTC phones, which I would never buy. They also carry a number of different items like a "Mossbon" laptop.

Laptop Hot Eee PC with 10.2 "TFT / Intel Atom 1.6GHZ CPU/1GB/160G HDD
- Three Gift (I think they meant to say free gift )

Conclusion of this website review is, Me? I would never buy anything there the prices are steep and it looks like alot of junk is being pushed there.

This does not mean that all chinese products are junk, I have a Lenovo ThinkPad which i am very happy with, but this is well established brand and products I would stay from brands for example like "ntc" which copies the "htc" phone.
