OLED stand for Organic Light Emitting Diode. This technology has been in development since, 2007. The First exciting factor in this technology is that LCD monitors can completely be Transparent.You might say OK, so what is the big deal about Transparent OLED displays.
Applied to automobiles where gauges of vehicles could be completely transparent.

There is many others reasons that are the for transparent OLED displays but the most fascinating idea is when this technology until recently allows for bending. Check out this Youtube video in Japanese as they show bending of the OLED display.
Well when you can start bending the screen, this is what it can be applied to:

- Panoramic LCD screen's etc.
