PS3 Hacked

PS3 Was unhackable for the past three years, but a 20 year old George Hotz from the United States has hacked the Play Station 3. You can find more information on his blog at:

all the information can be found there including the links to psDevWiki and the actual download link for the exploit. He claims that Sony won't be able to patch it completely.

Hotz said PS3 is supposed to be unhackable but nothing is unhackable. It took about 5 week for George Hotz to hack the PS3. Sony said it is investigating the report and it would "clarify the situation" when it had more information.

This hack right now is more for advanced users, it is going to be interesting when this will actually hits the modding scene. PS3 was unhackable for the past three years and now things will progress in this area.
