Ok so you got Google voice, and now you think it be kind of cool where you can send a text message or call a person without having to log into google voice and make the call from there!

What do the FireFox and Chrome Google Voice plug ins do?
They convert Phone Numbers on the web to automatic dialing or SMS from a conveniently located tab!

Also, they will notify you of SMS and Missed Calls sitting in your Google Voice Inbox.

FireFox Google Voice - How To (Not as Good as the Google Chrome Plugin)

To download the plug-in (the plug-in is in experimental stages but it works) for firefox go to:

Download and Install the plugin, restart firefox

Once installed and Firefox restarted, Click on

Tools -> Add-Ons (if you installed sucesfully you should see the following screen)

Click Options:

Fill in your options

1.Google login (the login you use to get into Google Voice)
2. Google Password
3. Forwarding Number (the number to ring on your end not your Google Voice number!)

All phone numbers will be not transformed, into a hyperlink you can click on it and call right away pretty cool. The firefox plugin is not developed yet to a stage like Chrome so now let's take a look at the chrome plugin.

So to get the Google Voice Chrome extension go to:

Click Install. and Hit Install once again and it's all done, WHOA that was EASY!

Click the icon highlighted in yellow to set it up. Login with your credentials

Click the Google voice icon in chrome and pretty much SMS, Call and Check Inbox pretty self explanatory, pretty cool extension!

Now all webpages, you should be able to call with one click! (Please note Phone to Call With: Is not the Google Voice number it's the number you are forwading your Google Voice too)
