So uTorrent Falcon Beta is here and let me tell you it rocks, because it allows you to access your uTorrent client from anywhere in the world and see what is going on with your uploads and downloads in a web browser interface. To get your uTorrent Falcon invite and to try it out follow the rest of the story!. There is an invite here in the story that works guaranteed! for now until uTorrent removes this invite!
Some of the features of Falcon are:
- Access your uTorrent application from anywhere in the world remotely! (it will be in your web-browser)
- Download Anywhere (currently disabled but it will allow you to download your complete torrents directly to another location)
- Streaming Video (users can stream video already without having to wait for it to download)
- File Sharing (if you want to share a file with someone that doesn't have uTorrent installed this will generate a link and give you the ability to share that link for someone to download a file neet!)
- Better visibility to searching torrents (this is said to be one of the features the uTorrent team is also working on)
In this tutorial I am going to show you how to get a uTorrent Invite and how to setup falcon.
1. Click Here to get the uTorrent Falcon Beta Invite.
2. Type in the username you want and his the Register button.
3. You should see the following screen
4. Hit download and the file utorrent-falcon-latest.exe should download, install uTorrent Falcon.
5. After finished installing launch the program
6. Once inside the uTorrent Falcon app go to Options -> Preferences
7. Type in the username you created in step 2, put in a password in the password field (this is where will create the password, NOTE: this is the password we will be using)
8. Hit Apply and OK, the password should not go through and you should see the following screen
(note: User Name you created , should be the username you created in the earlier steps)
9. Hit OK, and now you are done. Write down your username/password combination and you can now use uTorrent falcon.
to login to uTorrent falcon go to: http://falcon.utorrent.com/
login with your credentials and you should see your utorrent app, in the web-browser.
